inline AI runs on your local computer and does not upload or store your files on any server. When you run a task, inline AI assembles only the minimal contextual excerpts needed and sends them directly to the AI model. We have Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements with both Anthropic and OpenAI, so those excerpts are not retained on their servers after processing. No middleman, no cloud storage.

Which operating systems does inline AI support?

inline AI currently supports Windows only. The majority of spreadsheet-heavy professionals work on Windows, so that is where we focused first. Unlike browser-based AI tools, inline AI uses a Windows-native engine for file search, file reading, and direct Excel control. All of these capabilities are built specifically for the Windows environment.
